Tropico 3 Update

I was playing the "Greed" scenario last night, and lemme tell ya, it's a real tough nut to crack. For those of you who don't know, the goal is to accumulate $75,000 in your presidential slush fund within 40 years. So I've built a few banks, but I can't get my bankers to stay on the job. And importing foreign experts is getting pricey. So I try to build some nicer places to live (condos, houses, no mansions though...overkill IMO) and some more entertainment options. But...no luck! My banks have no workers, so I'm not putting any money in my slush fund aside from the occasional donation from private off-shore industries. Desperate, I turn to the Building Permit edict, which grants you a percentage of every construction project's cost. Slow going, to say the least. I do have a fair amount of overall money thanks to some mines and oil wells, but only about a third of the required slush fund with less than 15 years left. Panicked, I start building a tourist haven on the far side of the island. Skyscraper hotel, casino...the works. But it's too little too late. My finances sink deep into the red, and when time is up, I have less than $60,000 in the slush fund. More than $15,000 below the required threshold. Boo! I lose. Guess I'll have to try again over the weekend!!

I wanted to write an equivalent post on 'Warsong,' but it was so tedious and boring I couldn't even start it.

I beat the dark lord Pythion, FYI, but, perhaps not surprisingly, that's *only the beginning.*
