So marks the only bright spot in an otherwise pathetic existence. Born into poverty. Raised with a limited education. His journey through the world is beset by confusion, terror and denigration. His sudden ascent into wealth, only makes him a target of scorn and mockery. Do not laugh at poor Navin Johnson. Pity him.
